Introduction

This documentation goes over the columns shown in the Road Segment Grid View

1. Access Road Segments

To access the Intersections Grid View:

  1. Go to the Infrastructure module in the navigation menu on the left-hand side.

  2. Select Road Segments from the list.

2. GEOID

The GEOID column displays the unique identifier for each road segment, linking it to its geographical representation on the GIS map.

3. Description

This column provides the name or description of the road segment, such as nearby streets or landmarks.

4. Location Type

This indicates the type of location. All values are populated as Road Segment due to the nature of this module.

5. Number of Lanes

Represents the total number of lanes available for vehicular traffic on a given road segment.

6. Municipality

This column shows the municipality where the road segment is located.

7. Road Class

Categorizes road segments based on their functional classification.

8. Speed Limit

Specifies the maximum legal speed (in km/h) permitted on the road segment.

9. Jurisdiction

Identifies the governing jurisdiction responsible for the road class, such as municipal or regional authorities.

10. The Column Chooser

The Column Chooser allows you to customize the grid view by adding or removing columns:

  • Click the column chooser button in the top-right corner of the grid.

11. Select Columns You Want to Add.

Select or deselect columns based on your preferences.
